Film formats

A number of film formats have been used by Hans Sundgren. They are all listed here.

127 negative film

The 127 format is a roll film where the width of the exposed frame is determined by the camera. The Kodak Brownie camera Hans used, produed 12 square negatives per film.

APS negative film, IX240

The APS (Advanced Photo System) film was enclosed in a cartridge, also as developed film.

The most important feature with APS was the date and time recording on a magnetic strip. This data was then printed on the back of the developed prints.

Another feature was that the photos could be taken in 3 different formats; Classic, High Definition and Panoramic. The same size of the original was used though, only cropping was done in the laboratory.
