RASOR

Rasor is a RAdio orienteering SimulatOR.

Modes

Select between 3 modes:

• Demonstration: Foxes transmits in sequence.
• Identify foxes: Listen to transmission and click on the correct transmitter button.
• Find foxes: Find the foxes using 2 bearings per fox.
• Handheld: Use your smartphone as a receiver.

Moving the receiver

You can move the receiver antenna by two methods:

• Buttons
• Keyboard arrow keys: Left | Up | Right.

Show transmitter for assistance

For demonstration and help, the transmitters can be shown:

• Show: Show current sounding transmitter only.
• Show all: Show all transmitters.

Technical details about the application

The simulator is a web application using HTML, Javascript and CSS. All application code resides in a single 100 kB HTML file.
